python-stdnum software package provides Python module to handle standardized numbers and codes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-stdnum
python-stdnum is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-stdnum package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-stdnum *
You will get with python-stdnum package name, version, architecture and description in a table
